Character Creation Challenge - 7: Axel Roos [Mutant: Hindenburg]
Fourth Mutant: Year Zero Character
Final character for the Hindenburg party.
0: The Fundamentals
So the last party member remaining is the socialite. Who will be a psi-mutant.
1: Class
Psi-Mutant
The fourth planned class to bring to the party. The only class not in the party now is the regular human.
2: Occupation
Artist
All the social interaction classes are pretty interesting, but the Artist art was so good it won the tiebreaker that way.

Middle Aged gives 14 Ability Points, with the option of swapping one point for an extra special power. I abstain from that this time, leading to following ability scores:

- Känsla: 5
Having more Skärpa would be better in case of mutation growth, but like I have said some times already, I don't like having any 2s.
6: Skills
Get 10 skill points as middle aged. Bit easier to get stuff I like that way.

A bit all over the place. Can do all the social skills well, and with 3 in every other ability score can essentially do whatever later.
7: Talents
All of the possible starting talents can be very useful. One of them is a guaranteed use every session so that was the tie-breaker. Not sure how valuable credits actually are in the game, but having more money starting out for extra dice to thing can't be that bad.

This was just the most appealing one. Being able to stealth, possibly steal powers and being able to heal all in one is just amazingly good. Steep costs to help others, but really helpful.

11: Look and Haven
I was thinking some Mad Max type guy, with a bigger skull and big eyes. Having an almost spiritual journey every time he plays the drums. Speaks to everyone with fervor if he has played recently, very bored if he hasn't.
Haven a very small apartment and somewhat chaotic, filled with various broken instruments - new and old. Paintings not yet on the wall, painting not yet done on the wall, everything reeks of "I'm gonna fix that tomorrow".

In Play
I put the personality traits and how to play them in the Looks and Haven bit, but yes, that.
Can be the character that talks to everyone that needs talking to of npcs and make first contacts in general. Not massively useful outside social situations, but doesn't have dumped stats so might manage to help with other stuff (or just do the help for dice bit).
Getting the other Artist talents might be the first XP spendings, and then whatever secondary function feels useful. Or just max Manipulera and be done with it.
Buying an assortment of weapons and armor (and any doodas) for the group with the extra credits would be handy too.
Opinions
This character is still a bit too min maxed maybe for me for this game, but again fits in well with the group. Maybe the Mutant characters are a bit more shallow at the start than I remember? My only current YZE game is a 20 session or so Forbidden Lands campaign where the characters for the most part have broader sets of things they can do.
