Character Creation Challenge 2024 - 30: Svulmhugg Slaktaren [Drakar och Demoner]

 First Drakar och Demoner character

Also known as Dragonbane in English. As I have the Swedish version that's the term language I will use.

I played some DoD in my youth, when the game was released in Norwegian and someone had picked it up because they wanted to be rebels and not play D&D in Norwegian. Or something. The only thing I remember from that was that we were like 10 players, and it was a mix of Runequest and D&D. And it had ducks.

So about as much practical experience that I had with Runequest.

But the game has ducks, so I will make an angry duck. The rest is details.

I will also make a note of not having actually read the rules book, so this will be a blind character creation.

Opinions

This was a pleasant surprise. While Symbaroum was ability focused and took away skills, this is more skill based with hints of ability work.

I like Runequest, Symbaroum and Mutant - and this game has a bit of each without striking me as bloated from the getgo. Would love to play or GM just based on the character generation.

Character Creation Challenge 2024 - 9: Evren [Vampire: The Masquerade 5e]

 Second Vampire: The Masquerade 5e Character With the character I made to serve as a stand in character for someone that might show up to the Vampire campaign I am going to run this year out of the way, it's time to make some random stuff I could consider playing myself. 1. Core Concept  So one of the things I want to do going forward, is to set more and more of the quasi-real world settings in Constantinople/Istanbul and Ur. Since Vampire is a modern day game, it would be Istanbul.
