Character Creation Challenge 7: Wemut (Mörk Borg)

The first Mörk Borg character was classless and ended up interesting (despite the boring stats). Now it's time to check out classes, starting with a fighty kind: Fanged Deserter.

Step 1: Starting Equipment

Silver: 110

Waterskin

Food: 4

Donkey

Bottle of Red Poison (4 doses)

Heavy Chain (15 ft)

This was pretty lucky. Another guy with a heavy chain, working with Daeru on something perhaps?

Step 2: Starting Weapon & Armor

Shortsword (d4 damage)

Light Armor (Fur)

Not the best, but have the cash to compensate a bit first session or before play.

Step 3: Starting Ability Scores

Having a class means the scores have some modification to rolling, so hopefully it will not just be 10s this time around.

Agility: 8  (-1) [DR 14 for tests instead of 12]

Presence: 13 (+1)

Strength: 10 (+0)

Toughness: 8 (-1)

Oh dear. Good presence, but can't use scrolls and low agility and toughness. Perhaps too bright to be a Fanged Loyalist?

Step 4: Starting Hit Points

Hit Points: 6

With Light Armor might be able to take a hit. Who knows?

Step 5: Starting Name

Wemut.

Err.

Step 6: Optional

Omens: 2

Bite Attack

Earliest Memories: A brothel in Schleswig. Quite a friendly enviroment.

Class equipment: Four Weird Wizard Teeth.

Terrible Traits: Conflicted.

Broken Bodies: Lost three toes, limps.

Bad habit: Best friend is a skull.

Troubling Tales: Deserted military after witnessing a massacre, bounty on head. Hunter by former friends.

Sounds like someone from a greek tragedy? Or a shakespearian type play. A frothing berserker that thinks too much, I suppose.

Summary

Wemut [Fanged Deserter]

A bit of an odd one. Makes me think of a frothing berserker that lived through too much, a bit of a veteran perhaps. Not coping too well, perhaps second guessing everything instead of frothing. I would play this one too.
